Brazilian Angus Beef™

All CARAPRETA products undergo rigorous certification by the Associação Brasileira de Angus (Brazilian Angus Association). Currently, we have technicians from the Association in our industrial plant who guarantee the quality of all our cuts.

CERTIFIED WAGYU BEEF

Guarantee of 100% screened and selected animals through zootechnical inspection, complying with the ABCBW evaluation criteria and with minimum coverage of medium and uniform fat.

Environmental, Social and Governance

TÜV RHEINLAND ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND ANIMAL SUSTAINABILITY SEAL

CARAPRETA farm is certified with the “Seal of Environmental, Social and Animal Sustainability” granted by TÜV Rheinland. This is yet another important recognition of the company’s dedication and commitment to the principles of social, environmental and animal welfare.

ANGUS SUSTAINABILITY SEAL

CARAPRETA is the only Brazilian angus brand that has been certified as a sustainable company since 2019. Our rigorous sustainability process is focused on four pillars: animal welfare, environmental preservation, social engagement and biosafety.

Certified Humane Brazil

Certified Humane is the world’s leading animal welfare seal. In the animal protein segment, Carapreta was the first Brazilian company certified in the production of cattle and sheep.

Quality and Food Safety

NSF

International certification by Global Markets Foods that assesses process performance and chain control, ensuring the food safety of out beef cuts.

GUARANTEED TENDERNESS

In shear strength tests conducted by Unicamp (University of Campinas), 100% of CARAPRETA’s beef was rated “very tender” with maturation of 14 or more days.

HALAL

Halal is a system based on principles and values that benefit humanity based on four pillars: ethics, respect, integrity and honesty. Companies with this certificate respect environmental legislation, animal well being and fair business practices. CARAPRETA’s beef cuts are certified as halal.

ISO 22000 Certification

CARAPRETA‘s industrial unit in Contagem/MG, which processes our beef cuts, was certified by ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management Systems). With the certification, we reinforce our commitment to offer products with guarantee of origin and excellence in quality.
